Real estate agents are advising home buyers to purchase in Coopers Plains now before prices follow those of neighbouring Salisbury and Sunnybank.
Recent rezoning, which allows for multi-unit dwellings, is also attracting developers and builders to the suburb.
Ray White Sunnybank sales agent Elena Alexander said she had been inundated with inquiries from interstate and local first-home buyers, investors and
developers."You can still get so much for $500,000 here, and you couldn't buy anything at this price in Eight Mile Plains or Sunnybank," she said.
RE/MAX Colonial Annerley sales agent Mark Ward said with Salisbury "taken" already, and high prices in Sunnybank, Coopers Plains was the next hot spot for buyers.
